SLO YMCA (Monarch Grove) Before/After School program Complaint

Insanely expense, refusal to prorate
The YMCA district office is no more helpful than the school's office at Monarch Grove. If you are considering putting your children in here---look around the community for an alternative first. They assume that they can gouge families (and they do) because of limited availability. My children were going to be here for a total of LESS THAN six hours a week. They want to charge us 500 a month! Their rates are unreasonable and their staff is unable or not allowed advocate for the customer or make thoughtful decisions about day to day care.
In addition, if you read the paperwork, they are adamant that one on one care is not given unless it's due to negative behavior. For the prices they charge there should be one on one tutoring... It's unbeleiveable that the school continues to allow them to operate on campus with the low standards they have. Do yourself and your kids a favor and look elsewhere.
